#3 BBC 6 minutes English listening-The rise of emoji

Our teacher introduced a website for listening podcast which is called BBC  Learning English-6 Minute English this week. And I choose this episode " The rise of emoji " which interests me most as my assignment.

This episode is talking about why emojis and emoticons have become so popular.
In the content, they explained the difference between an emoticon and an emoji at first. Then, they mentioned one of the reasons that emojis are so popular is because they really can express emotion more effectively in digital communication. In the end, they introduced how emojis have been created. Guess what?  They have been created by a typo (typographical error ) in 1862. Isn't it interesting?

  1. Interesting, and it's good to learn the two words (emojis and emoticon) and know their differences.
