Assignment #8 Open Courseware-Edx
This week, my classmates had a presentation about Open Courseware and they took Edx as an example. This platform offers lots of courses that some of them are free and some of them are not. I choose a course called The Rise of Superheroes and Their Impact On Pop Culture which is offered by SmithsonianX. This course is really interesting. You can learn the evolution of American society from the Depression to today by the superhero comics and also can gain more knowledge about these superheros. The most surprising thing is that they invited Stan Lee ,who is the Chairman Emeritus of Marvel and also a member of the Editorial Board of Marvel Comics, as one of the lectures!!!
